A: "Mom, you know that black coat Daddy has? Me: "You mean his leather?" A: Now holding the coat after getting it out of the closet herself. "This one. I want a coat like this. With a skirt." Love her awareness of fashion, albeit a little out of date. Also not sure where she got such an idea.

Patience is a Virtue...

and something I don't have. I am so overwhelmed with work, the house, end of school year activities that I am very short tempered right now. My kids would probably say I am always short tempered...that work think doesn't help any. I am definitely worse than usual. I feel so badly and stay awake at night promising myself I will be better tomorrow. Once I get the first attitude or fight I have to break up, that typically ends it right there. But, alas, I will try again tomorrow.

Sigh.....

Slacker...

I've been posting everything to FB because it seems easier and quicker. Getting a little sick of FB and a little uneasy with who can see what. Promising myself to get back to my blog. Immediately.

Overheard...

While still in bed yesterday morning I heard Patrick getting up. He had slept in Sean and Brendan's room. He woke Brendan when he was leaving...who then followed him to the door. Patrick: "Go back to bed, Brendan. You have more time to sleep." Brendan insisted on going with Patrick. Patrick: "No, go back to bed, buddy. I love you."
