QOTD by C...

Watching Forensic Files with C. She is asking about the techniques they use. C: "Why do they do that?" Me: "It's amazing how they solve crimes. You can't get away with anything. Very few crimes go unsolved." C: "Well, if I were to rob some place, I would do it at night. I would wear all black, even black contacts. I would smash out the video cameras. I would wear a mask over my eyes. Me: "You know the video cameras can see you as you approach." C: "Well, I would throw something at them first and smash them from behind. Not that I'm going to rob someplace but if I were." Well, ok then. Kind of scary how much thought has been put into something she's not going to do.

The Toothfairy is Back

The toothfairy has been missing from our household for a bit. She's back. Caroliney lost two teeth this week~on Friday and Sunday. Damn toothfairy forgot to leave her anything the first night. Poor thing was so disappointed. She has been sick with a virus and bad cough and, therefore, bedhopping to sleep with Brian and I. Brian told her she couldn't find her the first night because she wasn't in her own bed. The second night the toothfairy was not going to disappoint again! Thank God she remembered. She woke up this morning so excited that she left her something and took her tooth even though she was not in her bed again.

This one was by Caroline as I left for work this morning~ "Mommy, your makeup looks so nice. You look like a beautiful princess going to a ball." As a friend commented on FB~she really is Sweet Caroline! Love her!

Future Suitor

Caroline had a playdate at our house with a little boy from class. During the playdate she and Audrey got into a fight over whether or not Brendan could sit next to this friend. When Caroline objected Audrey called her stupid. The boy's response: "She's not stupid. Caroline, you're not stupid. I think you're lovely and I want to marry you someday." I'll be telling them this one when they're in high school!

Lost Teeth

Caroline lost her first tooth on Sunday, October 24th at 4 p.m. (how anal is that, but I've kept the date and time for the other two and have to do the same). She has been so excited for this and I can't believe it is here already. She pulled it out of her mouth herself and was so proud. I had just been running around looking for the camera to get one last picture of her with all her baby teeth and when I turned around this is what I saw.
